Canadian-born producer Excision‘s new tour came to Boston’s House of Blues last week and brought some serious bass to Boston . The self-proclaimed “Half Man, Half Robot, Half Dinosaur” with the support of DirtyPhonics and iLL Gates are bringing a lot of high-energy music and an intense visual experience.
This tour once again features the “Executioner”, a high-energy video-projection mapping stage and a new 150,000 watt bass system. Applying video projection onto a 3D object is a relatively new projection technique that allows a dynamic video display and adds a whole new level of stage presence. The Executioner got a lot of press last year so I was very excited to see it live. iLL Gates and DirtyPhonics alone had everyone in the place going wild, so with Excision wrapping up the night, you can guarantee for a good time.
Make sure you catch the end of this tour if you can.
