Seriously. This song/commercial are so embedded in my memory. This is the definition of nostalgia. If you saw the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in the theatre or owned the VHS, this ad came on right before the feature presentation. Who ever the marketing genius behind it was did something right as I don’t think I ever fast forwarded through the commercial as a kid. I watched it every time and still know every word too it (I don’t even know the pledge of allegiance. This is more important anyway).
