A few months ago, I met up with my friend Travis who said he was going to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. I thought this was such a coincidence because I was going to Jupiter to open my very own dry cleaners. I asked him if he could put a sticker up on the peak and take a picture to prove it to me, and then I finished eating my Pei-Wei and talking mad shit. Now you can imagine my surprise when I opened my gmail today and found that Travis had emailed me his online photo album. At first I still thought it was an elaborately staged joke, because there were pictures of impala, and zebras and mud huts, which frankly, I have seen many times over just driving through Texas. But then I got to these as well as 4 days of climbing photos of Travis and his guide. And thanks to Travis, Proletariat has now gotten ups on a new continent. Take that Shepard Fairey! This photo will be very hard to beat, but if you want to try, email me and I will send you out some stickers.
In other news, the shop will be closed today because I just got a winter shipment of clothing to put out on the shelves. Paint should be in on Wednesday, plus we have Ooze ink on the way as well as kicks from Lakai and Ipath.
Thanks again Travis!
