Skript & Greg St. Peter @ the Good Life

It’s about time people start paying attention to these two young artists. Why, because their work is dope and since they still are unknown you can pick up a piece for cheap. But not for long. I know there is never a “good time” to buy art. Well, I take it back, a lot of art was sold during the dotcom boom, but a lot of everything was sold then. Anyways, I have never regretted picking up a piece of art even though I have had to talk myself into the purchase every single time. So what if you have to eat ramen for the rest of the month? You’ll get something nice to look at while shaving off the pounds. Anyways, let me introduce you to these two fine artists.
First up is Skript. Schooled and trained in architecture Skript uses precise line-work and stencils to create his images. And just like Greg many of his pieces depict beautiful women. Here we have a stenciled Scarlett Johansson, split between two hand sanded & stained skate decks. This would look great on your ceiling.

Here’s another piece by Skript. This puppy is big, probably 4 or 5 feet. All the linework was done by hand and I know that took a long, long time. I think this is a fine example of what goes on in the mind of an architect/artist.
Greg St. Peter is a chef by day and an international playboy by night, and somewhere in between he paints. I usually describe his style as Cuban, but I don’t know shit about art or Cuba for that matter. It’s just a vibe I get when looking at his work. He uses bright colors that look distressed or aged, and creates interesting portraiture.
He obviously loves the ladies…
Unfortunately, the exhibition at the Good Life has come to a close, but if you want to get in touch with these two hit me up.
