MAINE! The fun began right off the bat!

Arevolt.com

I was deep in the woods of Greenville Maine for all of last week. It was a nice escape from the city and is the reason I was not blogging. This is the first Maine post. More flicks will come soon.

I took these next two shots the second we arrived, before un-packing.

This fine gentleman is Evan. Evan and I went to high school together (he graduated before me) and now Evan designs super highways throughout the world! He is a great dude and was a great dude to have on a trip like this. You will see why in just a bit.

Evan was nice enough to return the favor and took a photo of lis and I standing in front of Beaver Cove (a smaller portion of Moose Head Lake)

Meet Tom & Morgen

Tom & Morgen have been featured on the blog several times before. I have known Tom for a fuck load of years as well as Morgen. They are married. I introduced them so….like if I introduce you to someone you will totes get married! Morgen’s gramp (who I told the townies was my gramp as well) owns the wonderful cabin we stayed in and was nice enough to let us have it for the week. Thanks Gramps and Morg 🙂

After unpacking and getting situated we realized that it was time to get to work and make us some fire!

This is the cabin….not fire

Lisard (dressed in the garb of the natives) got right to work!

Evan did what he does best….looked firey!

That actually is not true at all…he did that but he also started the fire. Thanks Ev.

Lis and I posed for photos

AND A BAT ENTERED CAMP!

Luckily Evan managed to capture the bat and remove it from the cabin. I had two videos of the event but unfortunately one of them was deleted.

More to come from this trip tomorrow!
