American Farmers are now feeding their cows candy. This is not a joke.

Corn prices are on the rise due to a major drought in the USA which has seriously affected America’s beef farmers. Of course, cows really shouldn’t be eating corn either but that’s where the market has lead us. So, in order to save money and still feed their livestock, farmers have been buying junk food to feed their cows. Yes, it’s ironic that the fattest country in the world is feeding our livestock the same shitty diet that we feed ourselves. A dairy farmer in Middlebury, Indiana feeds his cows bits of candy, hot chocolate mix, crumbled cookies, breakfast cereal, and ice cream sprinkles, which are blended into more traditional forms of feed, like hay. People, this is why you need to seriously consider what you are putting into your bodies. Read the nutrition labels, get to know some local farms, and buy organic whenever possible.
