The night started out great with sunshine, heat and delicious food plus our ladies! The opening act came all the way from merry ol’ England and they call themselves the Staves. Personally, their music reminded me of church, but once I saw the singers I decided church isn’t all that bad…
I’m pretty sure I saw this sign here last year and it made me laugh then as well. Mainly because the lawn in question has about 10,000 people sitting on it in lawn chairs and blankets and I know we dumped half a bottle of Chard on it when we left.
The main event, Bon Iver, did not disappoint! It struck me a few songs into their set that they just won a grammy for best new artist…if that doesn’t prove how out of touch the music biz is, I don’t know what does! Not that Bon Iver doesn’t deserve to win, but “new” artist? Please…
The crowd went home. We ran into our realtors Cody & Marcus who are the best in the biz and tons of fun…I highly recommend!
