Screw color contacts-I want these!

If I was blind of course. Researchers at M.I.T. have been working on creating bionic eyes now for about 20 years. They think they have finally gotten close to the idea with these beautiful prototypes… They have been tested in pigs now… for 8 months and the pigs seem to love them! (probably because that means the pigs don’t become breakfast) The crazy thing is with all of the technology that surrounds us these days the image quality of the bionic eye sucks. It looks like a shitty version of pong-but it’s a start. You can see a video simulation here.
