Glasgow based artists Richard Wright, 49, was awarded the £25,000 Turner Prize for the gold leaf fresco pictured above. Once this exhibition has ended, this award winning, beautiful piece will be destroyer/painted over.
The piece is not allowed to be sold, given away, etc. The Turner Prize exhibit is on viewing at the Tate Britain until January 3rd. Check out some video previews HERE. [via]
