by Hailing from Germany, Berlin’s techno wizards Modeselektor returned in full force to their club roots this April by doing a mini tour in between Coachella weekends. The duo played two nights in New York before heading to, Boston, Chicago, and Montreal and then back to the west coast music festival for a performance yesterday. A pretty ambitious feat for any artist. Modeselektor’s Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary produce “smart” club music that has a distinct sound and structure, yet still completely assaults the dance floor. There’s no better way to experience Modeselektor than via their live show. As always, one can expect a fully engaged stage performance with lots of bass, sweat and humor.
