I like books. I like them even better when they were given to me by the author or have that extra personal touch. Here are a few of my additions to my collection from the last year.
The History of American Graffiti. All around one of the most interesting graffiti books out yet. Signed copies are still available at the Boston Museum of Fine Art for only $40.00 so go cop a copy. This one was signed by Caleb Neelon, Robert Gastman and RISK MSK.
OPERATION: MADMAN (READER a.k.a. READ MORE BOOKS). This gem isn’t signed but it came hand numbered and with stickers. It’s by far my favorite and a great project all together. I’d say go get one but you might have to search for it.
Next we have a book from one of my favorites of all time, Chuck Palahniuk. For those of you who don’t know, he wrote Fight Club way before Brad Pitt saw money signs and it was cool to be a hipster. Not one of his best pieces of work but it was free and we got to talk shit for a minute. Go buy his book Survivor right now. It is easily in my top 5. If I still had it I’d give you a copy but I give it away everytime I read it and I’m fucking broke. Go beg somewhere else.
Last but not least we have a project from the good people of MUL.
ETHER and UTAH took time away from their busy schedule of being in jail for just enough time to release this limited edition print. It gives a simple but thrilling look into their travels around the globe and blah blah blah its fucking sweet and you don’t have one. But I do and I am on a blog so you get to listen to me gloat abut my book collection. Stop playing on face book and bitching on 12oz, go do something like contribute to society, get a job or talk to a girl… Or read a book at least.
