Thanksgiving Cocktails | Spice Up Your holiday


The first one takes a lot of ingredients but it sounds really good.

Pumpkin Pie

* 1 part Kahlua
* 1 part spiced pumpkin pie filling
* 2 parts coconut rum
* 4 parts cold milk
* 6 ice cubes
* Garnish with cinnamon

Put everything but the cinnamon in a blender. Mix on high. Serve in graham cracker crust highball glasses and sprinkle the top with cinnamon.

  • 1 part Grey Goose La Poire Vodka
  • 1/2 part Disaronno Amaretto
  • 1/2 part simple syrup
  • 1/2 part molasses
  • 2 1/4 part thick slices of fresh ginger
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of clove
  • pinch of allspice
  • crystallized ginger for garnish

Preparation:

  1. In the bottom of a cocktail shaker place the ginger, molasses, simple syrup and spices; muddle well.
  2. Add ice and the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat.
  4. Strain into prepared cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with ginger.
