I came across another treasure trove of classic american tattoo flash, here it is for your enjoyment.
Graffiti, war, sex, tattoos, typography and vintage advertisements. What more could you ask for?
I came across a vast collection of vintage posters recently that make great reference points for typography, design, illustration, tattoo… whatever. I’ll share some of my favorites from time to time because I’m just that nice.
Illuminati conspiracy theories and of corse, lots of tattoo. Every body pay special attention to the Brad Pitt and Lyle Tuttle flicks.
One of the things I love most about tattoo culture is the art of tattoo flash. Used as practice, advertisement and as study’s for new work, these paintings are usually either displayed in shops or kept in a private stash. The difference between getting a tattoo and getting an amazing piece is as simple as picking an artists image off of the wall.
I don’t know how it happened but I love cars. My Dad wasn’t a big car nut, and my grandfathers both died way before I ever found out if they were fans, but starting at a very young age I was well aware of cars. I remember being able to tell the year and model of any car on the road by their headlights at night in gradeschool. Read More
