The Arcade Fire and Google teamed up to create a pretty amazing interactive video using the Google Chrome search engine. Head to TheWildernessDowntown.com enter an address, (where you grew up, your current address, etc) and have Google Map’s images of your town brought into the Arcade Fire video. Some towns do not have enough information to fully work, if your town does not, try a neighboring town or a city. Don’t attempt without Google Chrome, I did and my computer freaked out and 90% of the video was a black screen.
This stop motion video is too rad. The final result took over 4 months of work and over 5000 photograps at 15 frames per second! Do yourself a favor and watch the shit out of this!
