BOSTON – A French graffiti artist accused of tagging trains in Boston and New York paid a fine of $2,500 to avoid a trial on vandalism charges in one case, Massachusetts prosecutors said Tuesday.

A second “fugitive from justice” charge was dismissed, as Bezat – who is sometimes known as “Rask” – was transferred to New York on Tuesday to face charges there.

It’s hard to get everyone to agree on person of the year, which is why we decided to throw out just a few of the many NOT PERSON OF THE YEAR awards! Here are a few of our least favorites!

Hopefully 2011 will be the last we see of this asshole, Christian Audigier aka owner of Ed Hardy. How does a brand remain relevant when they brand gas station lighters, fuzzy steering wheel covers, energy drinks, band-aids, etc. etc.? The only thing I can say is at least he has pointed out a whole segment of the population that I try to avoid at all costs.

Megyn Kelly. This one is for two reasons. #1 Megyn Kelly is actually a really well-educated woman with a degree in poly sci and she practiced law for 9 years. This is why I find this so upsetting. She SHOULD FUCKING KNOW BETTER and she is the ultimate sellout. She causes more harm than good and she does it for the dollar.

#2 The other reason is I am tired of every single woman on tv looking like someone I want to fuck. I know this seems crazy, but what’s the deal? I blame sports. It started there. Old crusty guys who knew everything got replaced by ditsy blondes who look hot in locker rooms. Now they have taken over the news. It only makes sense that she is on Fox though, because if the viewers actually listened to what they were being told they would realize that they were heartless, lying, racist, hate mongers.

Here’s to a few of 2011 Not Persons of the Year. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing positive for humanity.

Hey everyone! A few weeks ago, when I launched the new Proletariat online shop, Joe and I decided TTHU needed a facelift. Thank goodness our friend Bill makes websites in his sleep and for some reason actually likes Joe and I. Bill created this entire new site from scratch over the past few weeks and there is a method to the madness. Let’s dig in.

This is the main navigation of TTHU. If you start at thatsthehookup.com, you will be on the main page where all of our posts show up. However, if you are only interested in art and design, just click the DESIGN link and it will only show you articles that pertain. TTHU is made of 5 main sections. HEADLINES will feature news stories that we find interesting. GEAR is the spot for anything and everything you want to spend your money on…cars, watches, clothing, Miley Cyrus tickets…you get the picture. A/V CLUB is the spot when you got time to kill. Funny videos, music playlists, skate films, etc., are all here and are sized big enough that you don’t have to go full-screen (unless you want to.) DESIGN is just that. Could be fashion, art, architecture, graffiti, anything that is eye-catching and awesome. And finally we have P.O.V. aka our Point of View. This isn’t another faceless blog re-posting other people’s thoughts on the internet. We are real people and we think you will get to know us really quick through this section.
