KEDS used to be kind of a wack brand. Only nurses and moms wore KEDS. Recently they redesigned their classic shoes into something a bit more modern. Above is the KEDS Chukka, a comfortable, lightweight, stylish shoe for the summer, fall or spring. I picked up a pair of these a few weeks ago and I plan on ordering a few more soon! We are not getting paid to write about these shoes so if you are tired of everyone rocking the same Vans and Converse (we also love both of those brands too) then pick up a pair of KEDS to mix things up a bit. I’ve been stopped wearing these a few times since I picked them up. KEDS has also sponsored the Whitney, bringing some cool art, music and shoes together. More details HERE.
P.S. KEDS, if you want to send us some free shoes, we will gladly wear them, or give a pair away on the blog!

You know I have been a nike head for YEARSS, but this year i really took a good look at the other brands that we all KNOW but seem to not look at as desirable as the air max jammies.. ASICS-REEBOK-SAUCONY Read More

Since DJ AM bit the dust a few months ago, some friends decided to sell his kicks to raise money for the charity they started in his name. I don’t know if I could walk around in some dead guys shoes. What if they were haunted? What if all the sudden you became obsessed with house music and doing blow? That would be quite the predicament. As a precautionary measure to keep everyone safe, when I die, BURY ME WITH MY SHIT….I am talking Egyptian faro style! Thanks! [via]

CONVERSE has this new very cool advertising campaign promoting their new custom Converse One shoe store. The Ad campaign was designed by Anomaly and features mixed and matched animals rocking sweet diggs. Converse had these images put up all over New York City simultaneously. Cool campaign! If you head HERE you can see how easy Converse has made it to customize your own pair of kicks without dropping $300.
