Last night Neon Trees played The Bowery Ballroom in New York City on the eve of their record release. Their second LP “Picture Show” is out today. There are a bunch of jams on the record and one of those is featured above.Neon Trees performed their new song “Lessons In Love”, a song also featured on the new Kaskade record (Neon Trees X Kaskade) to a sold out venue. If you dig the track pick up a copy of the record and catch the band on tour near you.
If you can’t tell by the side ways video I shot of Tommy, I also was tore up by his set! It was another great night in the city! This video doesn’t really do Tommy justice so take a look around online, Spotify, etc and listen to his songs, they are great!
Last night CURSIVE played Bowery Ballroom in New York City. It was a great set packed with jams from Domestica up until current Cursive. Tim Kasher was on his best behavior and told some funny stories about perverts in the movie theatre. Enjoy the video and go see CURSIVE if they come to a town near you. If this is the first you are hearing of the band, check out the album “The Ugly Organ” which is by far one of my favorite albums of all time.
A big shout out goes to my buddy Clams Rockefeller for blessing my inbox today with these amazing photos of The Seventh Letter collective member, Retna painting the Bowery wall. Myself and the readers of TTHU owe you one.
If you’re not familiar with Clams’ photos, then take some time to peruse the photography on his blog and prepare to see some serious shit.
Lifetime is the grandfather band to acts like Saves The Day (listen to Can’t Slow Down, then a Lifetime record back to back), New Found Glory and countless other melodic/pop punk bands. Way before the TV network and hailing from the garden state, these guys are legends.
Robyn rocked Saturday Night Live this past weekend. If you are not familiar with this Swedish star then check out the videos below and prepare to be entertained.
