Bosco Verticale: Italian Vertical Forest Apartment Building

Stefan Boeri Architecture has designed a slution to poor air quality in our modern urban environment. It’s a Milan skyscraper with 730 trees, 5,000 shrubs and 11,000 ground plants to not only accentuate the dwellers’ views but also to create a serene environment and cleaner air. To create the equivalent area for individual homes and forest, at least 12 acres of land, and 2.5 acres of forest, would be needed. It’s nice to see a beautiful environmental solution to urban life.
